Dr. Harinder Babbar

Veterinarian

I am extremely proud to say that I am the owner of McQueen Animal Hospital, which I opened in December of 2012. I graduated from College of Veterinary Sciences, Punjab, India in 1995. I practiced small animal medicine in a practice that I owned for 10 years. In 2010, I obtained my license to practice in Canada. Since then, I have dedicated my life to the profession, volunteering my time in various veterinary hospitals throughout Canada and the United States, including referral and specialty centres. While I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine, I have a particular interest in internal medicine – the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases.

I started McQueen Animal Hospital under the premise of providing high quality veterinary care to the Brampton and surrounding community, where your pets’ special interests are always the first priority. I have invested in only the best medical equipment, as that is what your pet deserves. I understand the special bond that a pet has to their family, and feel honored to play an important role in their health and well-being. I am dedicated to the service of animals and mankind, and encourage you to visit the clinic to experience this first-hand.

Dr. Padma Mullick

Veterinarian

Dr. Padma Mullick completed her graduation and post graduation from Bombay Veterinary College, India. She loves working with both dogs & cats, misses working with cows & buffaloes. She grew up with animals and have played an important role in her life. Currently she is a proud owner of three rescue cats. She loves her job and probably would never retire from this compassionate profession. She spends her free time with plants either indoor or outdoor and is developing new skills by learning to quilt.

Catherine

Veterinary Assistant

My name is Catherine, and I am currently employed as a veterinary assistant at McQueen Animal Hospital. My love/passion for animals began at a young age. I’ve had cats, dogs, horses and even birds! My love for animals started when my family and I rescued cats off of the streets, brought them home and nurtured them back to health. My family then bought a golden retriever (Zeus) for the family when I was very young and my passion for dogs kicked off from there. I have been riding horses since 12 years old. Since then, I’ve worked at many barns, worked alongside veterinarians assisting in taking X-rays, doing lameness exams and so much more! I currently own my own doggie and his name is Matrix. He is a 2-year-old Pomeranian cross. He definitely keeps me on my toes most days! My dream is to become a DVM someday as I strongly believe in advocating for animals health and wellness.

Roshini

Technician

Hello, I graduated with a Bachelors in veterinary science and animal husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H) from India back in 2016. Moving to Canada was just the push I needed to channelize myself to work harder to achieve my primary goal of providing service to our furry friends with a better educational and infrastructural background in place.  I have been in this field with hands on experience with large and small animals since 2015 and hold a diploma in wildlife disease and management.

I would call myself a cuddler of dogs and a squisher of cats, always keen to learn and share in practice.

For as long as I remember I always wanted to work with and for animals only then I was too young and wasn’t aware there were doctors for animals too so I thought of becoming a trainer, zoo keeper, animal handler etc till I came to realize that we too could be healers to our furry friends in difficult times. I knew right then this was my destiny and I will continue to work towards achieving it, to clear the licensing exams and practice as a veterinarian in Canada.

The one thing that keeps my spirits high being away from my family and fur babies is working for these lovely souls.

Brittany

Technician

My name is Brittany and I have been working as a Vet tech for almost a decade.  For as long as I can remember I always seemed to run across animals that needed to be rescued and I always made it my mission to help in any way I could.  It always gave me such pride and purpose to speak for those who could not speak for themselves.  It is my passion to be able to work with animals and their humans to help better understand their fur babies needs.

I really enjoy the fast-paced environment working in a clinic provides as well as learning the many different treatments that go a long with the same diagnoses.  You are always learning in this field and it keeps things very interesting and definitely never boring.

When I am not at work soaking up the love of all our patients, I am at home with my two 15-year-old kitties soaking up all the cuddles I can from them.

Krystal

Veterinary Assistant

Hello! My name is Krystal, I am a Veterinary Assistant here at McQueen Animal Hospital.

I love animals and they will always be a part of my life. Ever since I was little, I wanted to take care of animals. At a young age, my family acknowledged that I wanted to work with animals. They are proud to see me fulfill my dreams and progress towards my goals in life. I own a few pets, Buddy, a cocktail who I’ve had since I was born. I also own a farm that is home to many pets including: a cat, a dog, chickens, ducks, goats, and a few guinea birds.

I love the wildlife! I have a very soft spot for all the animals in the world. I will try my best to help any animal in need and never give up on them.

McQueen Hospital is such a loving and welcoming place, I have learned so much and I can proudly say that I’m glad to be a part of this team!
