McQueen Animal Hospital, a vet clinic in BramptonVeterinarian
Dr. Harinder Babbar
I am extremely proud to say that I am the owner of McQueen Animal Hospital, which I opened in December of 2012. I graduated from College of Veterinary Sciences, Punjab, India in 1995. I practiced small animal medicine in a practice that I owned for 10 years. In 2010, I obtained my license to practice in Canada. Since then, I have dedicated my life to the profession, volunteering my time in various veterinary hospitals throughout Canada and the United States, including referral and specialty centres. While I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine, I have a particular interest in internal medicine – the medical specialty dealing with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases.

I started McQueen Animal Hospital under the premise of providing high quality veterinary care to the Brampton and surrounding community, where your pets’ special interests are always the first priority. I have invested in only the best medical equipment, as that is what your pet deserves. I understand the special bond that a pet has to their family, and feel honored to play an important role in their health and well-being. I am dedicated to the service of animals and mankind, and encourage you to visit the clinic to experience this first-hand.

Registered Veterinary Technican
Emily
Hi! My name is Emily and I am a Registered Veterinary Technician. I graduated from the Veterinary Technician program with honors from Northern College in April 2016. I then enrolled in the Companion Animal Physical Rehabilitation program at Northern College and graduated with honors in April 2017. Growing up I loved all animals, both large and small and from there I knew I wanted to work with animals for the rest of my life. My interests in the veterinary field include physical rehabilitation, dentistry, oncology and equine medicine. I love it here at the clinic and everyday I look forward to working with our clients and patients, providing compassionate care and continuing to build my knowledge as I move forward in this career. I currently share my life with my rescue dog Lily and my horse Amber, who both mean the world to me. In my spare time I enjoy horseback riding, snowboarding, spending time with my family and friends and travelling as I plan to visit as many places in the world as possible.

Veterinary Technician
Adhelly
Hi! My name is Adhelly Munoz and I am a Veterinary Technician here at McQueen Animal Hospital. I graduated from the Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry program in Mexico in 2014. When I came to Canada in 2015, I started as a volunteer in various veterinary hospitals throughout Mississauga and Oakville, had worked for a year in an animal hospital in Mississauga, and slowly my life has been transitioning to this beautiful city of Brampton. Now I am currently preparing to get my full license in Ontario.
I have always loved animals, be the time I had nine Chihuahuas, my turtle Crushy and dad’s beautiful aquarium, or all of the adorable dogs and cats that step through the door at McQueen. I have always felt a special bond with animals, and it’s an amazing opportunity to work with them and help them with the best of my abilities here at McQueen. At home I love to pass time with my husband, and planning the next trip to visit my family in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, which is a beautiful tourist destination.

Veterinary Assistant
Melanie
My name is Melanie and I am the veterinary assistant here at McQueen Animal Hospital. Ever since I was little I have always had a love for all animals. My career began when I started volunteering for the Mississauga Humane Society back in 2013, which I still currently do on weekends and I organize the cat rooms and socialize the cats to find their fur-ever homes. Soon after, I graduated from Sheridan College with honors from the Animal Care Program. From that time, I have gained a lot of experience in the grooming field and medical field. I plan on going back to school to further my education by getting a degree in Animal Behaviour and Biology or as a Registered Veterinary technician. When I am no at work, I like to spend my time with my friends and family and my two cats Bombay and Savannah.
