Microchip (RFID) Implant

Microchips are small identifying chips that are placed under the skin of your dog or cat or any other pet. It offers a permanent approach of identifying your pet and linking the animal back to you if they get lost. Each chip has its own special code so that when it is scanned, your pet’s information along with the owner’s contact information will appear so that veterinary hospitals or local shelters can contact the owners. Each year thousands of lost and abandoned animals are taken in by shelters and humane societies across North America. Unfortunately some of these animals never make it home because they cannot be identified. Hence it is highly recommended that you microchip your pet. A dog with a microchip or a cat with a microchip is more likely to make it back home safely.

Advantages of Microchip Implant;

In addition to your microchip, you also receive 45 days of Free Pet Insurance with 24PetWatch.

The “Recover a Pet, Uncover a Cure” is currently a campaign taking place in partnership with 24PetWatch. When you microchip your pet with the new MiniChip, a small portion of every sale will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation in the Ontario Region.

How Microchip Implants help;
Microchips help in identifying your pet in case they go astray and constitute a permanent approach to identify your pet and link him back to you. Each microchip implant is embedded beneath your pet’s skin and has its own unique code so that all the information relating to the pet and the contact details of its owner can be obtained by scanning the microchip. In turn, this enables local shelters or veterinary hospitals to get in touch with you. Thousands of abandoned and lost animals reach shelters and human societies. Some of these animals however never make it back to their homes since there is no means of identifying them.
